| Many of these designs can be found on tokens with no date. I suspect the no-date tokens may have been sold to customers in bulk. Not only were some of them minted in the same years as the dated tokens, they were also minted in later years. |

| There are dated tokens with custom reverses. There are dated tokens with custom fronts. There are undated tokens with custom reverses. There are undated tokens with custom fronts. There are custom tokens with unique fronts and reverses both. There can be very little discerned by studying the designs on undated tokens with the viewpoint that they are unique to any particular year. |

| To complicate matters further, some of the same designs created and first issued by the Austrian Mint were then later produced by private manufacturers in different sizes, same size, different metals, same metal, but often there is a drop in quality that a discerning eye can detect.....but not always :-) |

| Just because I marked a year "unknown" doesn't mean it is rare or unknown to collectors but simply that I haven't seen it yet or acquired an image. After all, I am relatively new to collecting these. |
